About 4" of snow fell in the valley on Monday, while about 12" fell in Forest City, up by the reservoir! As a warm up is expected to start next week, that should leave us with good flows for a while. Few fish were seen on redds this past week, but there are still a few out there, so continue to wade with caution. As winter settles in, continue to downsize your offerings and slow your presentations.
*From mid October through mid December, fish in the Lackawanna will be spawning. Please take extra caution if you choose to fish during this period as to not walk on or disrupt redds, or interfere with spawning fish. This time of year is crucial for the survival of this special fishery!
