This week should be without the temperature pulses on the West Branch we saw last week. And other than that, its the same story for the end of July. Which is always the nice thing about a tailwater. The Beaverkill, Main and Lower East are too warm to fish, and Sulphurs have become the main fare on the upper West and upper East. Isos and Cahills can be found sporadically throughout the day, and BWOs will be heavier under cloud cover.
Hatching:
-
Light Cahills #14
-
Isos #10-12
-
Sulphurs #16-20
-
Yellow Sally #14
-
BWOs #18-22
-
Tan Caddis #16-18
